
Mya uses portion control, & doesn’t eat a lot of junk food.
“Dieting, eating the proper things—I don’t eat fried foods, no sodas. Carbonation is just really bad for you especially when you’re a singer. No alcohol, no smoking, trying to stay away from second hand smoke. That’s pretty much it, just watching what I eat, when I eat.” Mya. As far as working out goes, Mya works out consistently, even if she doesn’t have access to a gym, or if she is on the road.
SOME HELPFUL TIPS... (thanks to Megan who sent me this idea via email)!
1. Limit high-fat meals . . . yet don't eat completely "fat-free" meals either.
2. Eat three smaller meals per day, with frequent healthful snacks.
3. Eat several (2 to 4) fresh fruits per day.
4 Limit sugary foods to two (or fewer) small servings per day, consuming only with meals.
5. Hydrate! Starting the moment you get up in the morning.
